Student announces plans to kill it this semester
Yesterday evening, residents of 526 Milton listened eagerly as roommate Joseph Ginsberg, U1 Management, delivered an address that publicly revealed his intention of absolutely killing it this upcoming semester.
The spontaneous announcement occurred while the five male housemates, reunited for the first time since the winter break, were “knocking back some brews” and watching SportsCentre highlights.
“Boys, this could be a really dope semester,” began Ginsberg. “Work hard, play hard, you know what I’m saying? I just wanna get rowdy with you guys as much as possible and fucking kill it.”
Upon learning of Ginsberg’s short-term objective, the orator's audience reacted positively, nodding their heads semi-aggressively and vocalizing their affirmation with succinct responses such as “Yeah bro” and “Hundo P.”
Despite the unexpected timing of the statement, it came as no surprise to those familiar with Ginsberg’s initial platform promises as a McGill student.
“When I met Joe last year in New Rez, he definitely gave off the vibe of someone who wanted to always be killing it,” recalled roommate David Polan, U1 Engineering. “Last semester though, he got into a bit of a sophomore slump; worrying about his GPA all the time, only going out twice a week. It’s good to know he’s back on track now.”
